Like many Town Centres, Worthing has an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Well known brands such as Marks & Spencer, Laura Ashley, Boots, Costa, H&M and Waterstones are based directly on the pedestrianised High Street. Away from the main streets you will find independent traders selling everything from clothes to board games. There are still butchers, bakers and fishmongers in the town giving it a traditional feel.
There is no shortage of places to eat, along with the recognisable chains, there is an abundance of family owned and independent restaurants and cafes. Our recommendation would be to try Ami Bistro let us know what you think?
No sea side town would be complete without a pier. Although Worthing doesn't boast to be the most famous, it has kept its traditional feel even after being rebuilt a number of times since it opened in 1862. It's also home to the Pavilion Theatre which houses live music, drama and film events.
